What Would You Like To See More Of At Tarot Eon?

Tarot Eon Poll

Recently I’ve had loads of really cool ideas and plenty of interesting stuff to write about but I’d really like your help to figure out how to do this properly. I’ve got a new Tarot Tutorial series lined up, some articles on Myths, Philosophy and History; as well as some really cool, stand alone articles on specific techniques. One of the difficulties that I’ve got is deciding how I present these articles.

  • How long should the articles be?
  • What kinds of subject matter would people like to read about the most?
  • How much theory to use?
  • Should the articles be completely technique based?
  • Would you guys like to hear more about my personal experiences with Tarot?

In order to figure out what types of articles to prioritize, I’d really like your help. To let me know what you would like to read about at Tarot Eon, please fill out the poll below.

and , my other top choices would be:
1.your personal experiences with the Tarot
2.Tutorials
3. fun mix of stuff like you currently have…
sometimes a focus on one card, from a different angle…sometimes question about –for ex: significator:yes/no?, sometimes a group of cards: the 7s…the court… which three majors say “xyz”..like that!
LOVE your blog! keep up the awesome work. i thank you so much for this space!

Hi Mzzlee

Thank you for your kind words and for being specific on your top choices – really helpful and I’ll do my best to get the right balance between all of these different areas of Tarot.

I put “how to techniques”…but I also enjoy myths and examples…those are helpful.

Hi. How about putting a section about deck reviews? Or just your own personal deck collection and why do you like them. And what do you think of themed decks and how they affect the reading? Does the images or symbology on themed decks affect or change the original from RWS deck?

Hi AJ,

Thank you for letting me know what you would like to read about :)

Does the images or symbology on themed decks affect or change the original from RWS deck?

That’s an interesting question, and one that I plan on writing about in the future.

Hi Douglas,

Ooh, i wanna see more stories of your personal experiences/ your clients experience if they allow you to share it with us, or u can make like a weekly tarot reading for one of your readers and then we can all share experiences together and be more connected to somehow. Tarot is not just a one person thing, we all can share our experiences in dealing with the different cards and spreads and questions, and then we can differentiate it in our own opinions. hmm, i think its a good idea , cause ill read it hehe.

Oh and then maybe we can do a link tarot reading where , u do a reading for someone called a, then someone called b do a reading for someone call c, then someone called d do a reading to e, and the e do a reading to you. like a circle of tarot reading all can be done online. So this wud make it a bigger circle. And everyone can practice. like choose one spread and do the same spread for everyone. and maybe same question too. ideas are limitless.

all we gotta do is just have fun doing them :p

i hope u find my ideas interesting, i can fluff a lot of absurdly weird ideas at a tip of a hat hehe.

Hi Maz,

Thanks for sharing your ideas.

As time goes on I’m sure I’ll start to write more about my personal experiences :D

The idea of doing a link Tarot reading isn’t something I’ve considered before. I think one of the problems with doing that, is the time aspect of it. Also, I think that someone’s “reading” is a private and confidential matter that, for ethical reasons, shouldn’t be shared without their full consent. I’ll give the matter some thought, but I think I’d feel uncomfortable with making that a feature of this blog, at this time.

It’s great to hear what you would like to see more of.
