Although not a psychic joke, this one really happened ... my wife was teaching an Assertiveness class at the University of Derby many years ago, and had to cancel one lunchtime session. I went and put up a sign on the door, "Assertiveness Class Cancelled". Of course, this was in a corridor walked by thousands of the brightest (oh hum) minds in Derbyshire, so you can bet when I came to take it down later that day, it now read ... "Assertiveness Class Cancelled - If nobody minds, I hope? Let me know if you do. Please." Marcus Douglas
